   TERMS OF SERVICE

Dog Security

We love dogs at The Scoopinator!! Friendly/well-behaved dogs may be welcome to stay out while service is performed. The client is responsible for securing aggressive and/or dangerous dogs . Service technicians maintain discretion not to enter a property if they feel unsafe or unable to complete job duties.

Notifications

The Scoopinator will send text notifications before arriving for service. Another text will be sent upon completion with a picture of the *latched gate. (if applicable) *A gate latch is defined as a mechanism or device specifically manufactured to secure the type of gate to which installed. (items such as bungee cords, bricks, ropes, malfunctioning or inoperable latches, etc. are not considered properly secured gates) Gate latches not accessible from the outside may not be secured by technician.

Accessibility

The client is responsible for having the scoop area accessible when a technician arrives. Service technicians are not responsible for jumping, climbing, or crawling in order to enter a scoop area. If the scoop area is inaccessible upon arrival, the technician may attempt to knock/ring doorbell and send a text message one time. If no immediate answer or if scoop area cannot be made immediately accessible, the technician will move onto the next route stop. The missed waste will be double-scooped upon the next scheduled visit.

Schedules/Routes

Schedules are route based similar to a residential trash service. Visits are scheduled when a technician is in a certain area performing a weekly route. Accommodations may not be made for specific service days or times requested by the client. Appointments for recurring service are set for a specific day of the week and do not guarantee a specified time of arrival. Route schedules are subject to change based on business need.

Inclement Weather

The Scoopinator attempts the best reasonable effort to complete routes based on weather conditions. Visits may either be rescheduled if possible or missed waste will be collected during the next regularly scheduled visit if weather conditions propose a safety risk or make waste collection unreasonable.

Payments

Prepaid payments are required before service is provided. Weekly service customers are required to pre-pay 4 weeks. Bi-weekly customers are required to pre-pay 2 services visits.

Payments are accepted via, Zelle, Venmo, or cash app to Jose Gonzalez with phone number 214-668-6312.

Non-Payment

A late fee of $10.00 may be applied 10 days after due date. Service is subject to cancelation before the next service date if  current bill is not paid before end of calendar month as standard practice. Charges for any uncompleted visits on past due billing will still apply. Waste missed due to uncompleted visits will be removed on the next visit if service is reinstated. Full payment for the past due amount plus upcoming/current bill cycle must be paid to reinstate service. Unpaid invoices beyond 60 days past due date may be sent to a collection agency. The Scoopinator  ultimately reserves the right not to complete service until paid in full.

Cancelation

The Scoopinator or the client may cancel service at any time. The client is responsible for notifying The Scoopinator  to cancel service within 48 hours of the next scheduled visit .

Services canceled for non-payment are subject to the terms in the non-payment section above. Services canceled for more than 30 days will be subject to initial clean fees upon reinstatement.

Missed Waste

The Scoopinator  is committed to providing a reasonable effort to remove dog waste based on the amount of dogs and service time being billed. Some waste may be missed due to yard conditions, difficult to find waste, human error, or unsolidified waste.

Parking

The Scoopinator  attempts to park service vehicles on public roads off client’s property when reasonable. Parking on a client’s property may be necessary in rural areas, large estates, or where street parking may not be practical.

Animal Health

The Scoopinator  attempts to inform clients if recognizing consistent irregular waste or possible causes for health concerns during waste collection. The client is responsible for informing The Scoopinator  if an animal being serviced contracts a contagious illness that may be harmful to humans or other animals. Service may need suspended until the animal receives a clean bill of health from a qualified veterinarian.

Liability

The client may be liable for dog inflicted injuries caused to our technicians , as a result of their negligence or actions for which they could be responsible.

Holidays

The Scoopinator  will close service routes on Independence Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day. An effort may be made to adjust scheduling during the holiday week to complete visits which would normally fall on the holiday.

Vacation/Business Retreat

The Scoopinator  may close service routes for one week up to two times per year for employee vacation or company business retreat. Uncollected waste will be collected upon returning visits.
